Simple Chocolate Sour Milk Cake
Description
The recipe won't take much time. No one will refuse a piece of this moist, chocolate-flavored cake! It's easy and simple to prepare—just make sure to thoroughly beat the chicken eggs and don't forget to add the baking powder. Without it, the cake won't be porous, airy, or rise properly. The color of the baked cake depends directly on the color of the cocoa powder, but you can substitute it with grated or melted chocolate of any kind, chocolate spread, etc. It's best to slice the cake once it has cooled down. The baking is ready. Serve at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. Warm the sour milk to room temperature in advance, as well as the chicken eggs, so they whip better.
- 2
Step 2

Put them into the bowl of a mixer or food processor, add sugar and salt. Beat for 3–4 minutes at high speed. The main thing is not to overbeat the egg mixture so that it doesn't separate.
- 3
Step 3

Pour the odorless vegetable oil and sour milk into the whipped mixture, gently stir, but do not beat, to avoid releasing air bubbles.
- 4
Step 4

Add the cocoa powder and baking powder, then mix. The cocoa powder may not incorporate well at first, but don't worry.
- 5
Step 5

Add the premium wheat flour in parts. If desired, you can sift it beforehand to aerate. Mix in with a whisk, but do not beat. The cocoa powder will blend in well with the flour, giving the batter a vibrant color.
- 6
Step 6

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and grease the baking pan with vegetable oil, making sure to coat the sides as well. Place the chocolate batter into the pan using a silicone spatula and smooth the top.
- 7
Step 7

Place the dish in the oven for 35–40 minutes, keeping an eye on the surface of the baked good. Check the cake with a wooden skewer; it should come out dry from the center.
- 8
Step 8

Let the pie cool slightly, trim the edges, and transfer it to a plate. Let it cool again for 15-20 minutes so the pastry slices perfectly.
- 9
Step 9

Cut the pie into portion pieces and serve with warm milk, fragrant tea, strong coffee, etc. Enjoy your meal!
