
Simple fish pie
Description
Delicious baked dish for the whole family. This pie turns out amazingly tasty and filling, and its aroma is simply irresistible. You can proudly serve this fish pie to guests as well. It's important to note that if you want to make the pie healthier, mix wheat flour with whole grain flour. Also, if desired, you can add chopped herbs and boiled egg to the filling. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

For the dough, add yeast and 1 tablespoon of sugar to warm milk, mix everything and let it rise.

In a bowl, mix flour and eggs with sugar, salt, and melted butter. Add the starter and knead the dough. Let the dough rest for 1–1.5 hours in a warm place.

Rinse the millet, bring water to a boil in a saucepan, and add the millet. When the water boils again, turn off the heat and let it stand for 20 minutes. Drain the millet.

Cut the fish into pieces. Heat oil in a frying pan, sauté finely chopped onion, then add the millet. Season everything with salt and pepper.

Divide the dough into 2 parts, roll out the smaller part and place it in a baking dish. Add the millet with onion, then the fish cubes, and season the fish with salt and pepper.

Roll out the second part of the dough and cover the pie, seal the edges, make slits across the surface, brush with beaten egg. Cover the pie with a towel and let it rest.
