Simple recipe for baked cottage cheese casserole in the oven
Description
The baking is simple and quick. To make the casserole delicious, be sure to use sieved cottage cheese. Also add a little semolina. Adjust the amount of sugar to your taste. In addition to raisins, you can use any dried fruits. To find out, serve with tea or coffee.

Prepare all the necessary ingredients. This time I'm using full-fat homemade cottage cheese, but you can use low-fat as well.

First, soak the semolina. To do this, pour it into a deep bowl, add sour cream, and mix well.

The cottage cheese needs to be blended into a completely smooth mixture. You can sieve it (but this will take quite a while), or you can use a blender or food processor.

The mixture should turn out soft and smooth, resembling cream. I can still see some small curd particles, so I will continue blending for another minute.

Beat the eggs with sugar.

You don't need to beat too vigorously; it's enough for the eggs to become uniform and mix with the sugar.

Add cottage cheese and sour cream with semolina to the egg mixture. Also add raisins (previously pour boiling water over them for a few minutes so they swell and soften).

The cottage cheese mixture should have a consistency similar to that of cake batter.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Place the pan with the cottage cheese mixture into the oven. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, until a golden crust forms on top. Note that the casserole will rise significantly in the oven, but it will settle once removed — this is normal.
