Instructions

Step 1

We start the preparation by preparing the main ingredients.

Step 2

In a separate container, mix the dry yeast, sugar, and pour in very warm water. Stir well until no lumps remain. Cover with a towel and let it sit in a warm place for 30 minutes. The starter is ready.

Step 3

In a deep bowl, mix the starter, salt, gradually add the sifted flour, and vegetable oil.

Step 4

Knead the dough thoroughly until it becomes smooth, elastic, and no longer sticks to your hands. Cover the dough with a towel and let it rest in a warm place for one hour.
- 5
Step 5

After an hour, the dough will double in size. Put the dough aside for another hour, and in the meantime, let's prepare the filling.
- 6
Step 6

Rinse the cabbage under water, chop it, and sauté in vegetable oil until golden brown. Season the filling with salt and pepper.

Step 7

We knead the dough and divide it into 16 pieces. Roll each piece into a ball, then flatten into a round, place the filling in the center, and seal the edges of the buns.

Step 8

Place the buns seam side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet and let rise, covered with a towel, for 20 minutes. Brush the surface with egg and transfer to an oven preheated to 250°C. Bake for 10–15 minutes.
