
Simple plum pie
Description
Perfect with tea and coffee. This cake can be baked with different fruits or berries. This time I had fragrant, ripe, and incredibly juicy plums that were just begging to be used in baking. It's best served chilled, as it tastes better and holds its shape more firmly. Serve warm or chilled. Ideal with tea.

1. For the crumb: mix soft butter with flour and granulated sugar, then mash with your hands into crumbs.

2. For the dough: mix the flour with the baking powder and stir well.

3. Whip the soft butter with a whisk, add vanilla, a pinch of salt, and granulated sugar, continue beating.

4. Add the chicken eggs one at a time to the butter mixture, mixing well after each addition.

5. Gradually add the wheat flour mixed with baking powder to the whipped eggs and butter in portions, mixing with a mixer.

6. The prepared dough will be thick. Line the baking pan with parchment paper, place the dough inside, and use a spoon to spread it evenly throughout the pan (moisten the spoon with water).

7. Wash the plums and remove the pits, place the halves on the dough with the flesh side up, gently pressing them down.

8. Sprinkle the pie with the previously prepared crumb mixture, place it in a preheated oven at 170-180 degrees, and bake for 50 minutes.

9. We leave the finished cake in the mold until it cools completely, and only then remove it and cut it into pieces.
