Simple cherry pie
Description
Perfectly pairs with tea and coffee. For baking, I use ready-made shortcrust pastry. You can use frozen or fresh cherries, if you're preparing it in season. You can also add other berries to the cherries. For a beautiful golden crust, brush the pie with beaten egg yolk before putting it in the oven. Serve with tea or coffee.
