Simple cottage cheese dough
Description
The baking is simple and quick. This cottage cheese dough can be used not only for cookies, but also for pies or cake layers. To prepare the simple cottage cheese dough, we need fresh, creamy cottage cheese and, importantly, butter (not margarine or spread, but real butter—82.5% fat content). By the way, you can shape the cookies however you like—they don't have to be flat. Serve them cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients. I use both homemade and store-bought cottage cheese.
- 2
Step 2

If your cottage cheese has lumps or clumps, press it through a sieve: there should be no lumps. Soft cottage cheese does not need to be sieved again.
- 3
Step 3

Grate cold butter on a grater and add it to the cottage cheese. Add a pinch of vanillin or vanilla sugar to taste.
- 4
Step 4

Mix everything.
- 5
Step 5

Add as much flour as needed. You'll get a fairly dense ball that can still be rolled out.
- 6
Step 6

Sprinkle the dough with sugar, and it's better to roll it out on parchment paper or through parchment paper. Then you can cut out cookies using any cookie cutters you like.
- 7
Step 7

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the cookies on it and bake in the oven at 190 degrees for 30 minutes.
- 8
Step 8

Let the cookies cool.
- 9
Step 9

Serve the ready-made cookies made from simple cottage cheese dough with milk or tea.
