Simple ginger cookies
Description
This recipe will not take much time. Homemade baked goods, in my opinion, are loved by everyone—even people who are indifferent to sweets. Yet not everyone takes up home baking: they say it is too complicated, with too many subtleties. That is partly true, but there are also very simple baking recipes that anyone can handle—for example, this simple gingerbread. Adopt this recipe and try to surprise your loved ones, who have no idea you can bake so deliciously! :)
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Mix the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, ground ginger, and powdered sugar.
- 2
Step 2

In another bowl, mix the brown sugar and butter until smooth and uniform.
- 3
Step 3

Add molasses to the butter and sugar mixture.
- 4
Step 4

Mix.
- 5
Step 5

Mix until the mixture reaches the consistency of cream.
- 6
Step 6

Now gradually add the flour to our cream, continuing to beat everything on the mixer’s low speed. Add the flour in small portions so it blends evenly with the cream and does not form lumps.
- 7
Step 7

When the flour and cream are evenly mixed, that’s it—the cookie dough is ready.
- 8
Step 8

Using a measuring scoop, divide the dough into portions (from the specified amount of ingredients — about 10 portions).
- 9
Step 9

From the resulting pieces of dough, roll neat little balls.
- 10
Step 10

Roll the balls in sugar.
- 11
Step 11

Place the balls on a baking sheet. Do not pack them too tightly—the dough will expand during baking.
- 12
Step 12

Gently press down on the balls, shaping them into patties.
- 13
Step 13

Bake for 10–12 minutes at 190°C.
- 14
Step 14

Let cool and serve. The cookies are ready! :)
