    Prepare the ingredients.

    Pour the milk and water into a saucepan, add salt, sugar, butter. Heat until it reaches boiling while stirring, but do not let it boil.

    Add all the flour at once.

    Stir vigorously to knead the dough. Keep it over the heat for 2 minutes to dry the dough; it should detach from the sides of the sauté pan and gather into a lump.

    Cool the dough slightly, and add the eggs one at a time, mixing them into the dough vigorously.

    Knead the dough; it should be elastic, neither too thick nor too thin. Transfer the dough into a pastry bag. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 190 degrees.

If you piped the dough with a pastry bag, the resulting “tails” can be smoothed with a wet finger. Bake for 30–35 minutes at 190 °C, then lower the temperature to 160 °C and bake for another 10 minutes.
