This recipe won’t take much time. Profiteroles with buttercream are easy and fairly quick to make. They’re a lovely choice for a holiday or buffet table—you get a lot, and they’re delicious. The profiterole decoration options in the recipe are optional—everything is up to your taste, just like adding chocolate to the buttercream. Treat this recipe as a base for making the profiteroles and the cream, and adapt it to your own taste.

    Pour water and milk into a saucepan and heat almost to the boil. Add 100 grams of butter cut into pieces and melt the butter.
