Healthy cherry pie
Description
This healthy cherry pie is gluten-free, and it contains a minimal amount of sugar, which, in principle, can be replaced with any sweetener if desired. The pie is suitable for a healthy diet and for those who watch their figure. The recipe is very simple and quick. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Whisk the ryazhenka (or kefir, plain yogurt) with the egg. Add 1 tbsp sugar (or a sweetener).
- 3
Step 3

Mix the flour (rice and oat), baking powder, and vanilla sugar. Add to the egg mixture and knead the dough. It will be runny, and that is how it should be.
- 4
Step 4

Lightly add 1 tsp of starch and 1 tsp of powdered sugar to the cherries.
- 5
Step 5

Prepare the baking pan (grease it with butter, dust with flour, and line the bottom with parchment paper). It is better if the pan is springform. Place the cherries on the bottom of the pan at some distance from each other.
- 6
Step 6

Pour the batter over the cherries. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Bake for about 30 minutes until done.
- 7
Step 7

Remove the finished pie from the pan and let it cool.
- 8
Step 8

Before serving, you can lightly dust the pie with powdered sugar, no more than 1 teaspoon. A delicious, healthy, and beautiful cherry pie is ready—time for tea.
