
Healthy flatbreads with cheese
Description
It goes perfectly with tea and coffee. The cheese flatbread made in a skillet turns out juicy, with a beautiful golden crust. You can eat it plain, or wrap lightly salted fish, slices of boiled chicken breast, and fresh cucumber inside! It’s hard to imagine a tastier breakfast. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

Prepare all the necessary ingredients. If you wish, the flour specified in the recipe can be replaced with the kind you prefer. Sour cream can be replaced with kefir or yogurt.

Beat 2 chicken eggs, mix.

Add sour cream and salt. Mix thoroughly with a fork or whisk.

Add salt, ground black pepper, and dried basil to the mixture.

Add the flour and baking powder. Mix until you have a smooth dough with no lumps.

Grate the cheese on a grater, add it to the dough and mix. The dough should be a little thicker than for pancakes.

Grease the pan with a brush using vegetable oil. With a spoon, spread about one-third of the batter and level it with the back of the spoon.

Fry over low heat, covered, on one side for 3–4 minutes.

Carefully flip with a spatula and fry for another couple of minutes under the lid.
