Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. You can use any edible mushrooms except for oily ones.
- 2
Step 2

Sort the buckwheat groats, put them into a deep container, pour water over them, and rinse several times.
- 3
Step 3

Transfer the grain to a saucepan or cauldron.
- 4
Step 4

Pour warm water over it and add salt, place the container on the stove and cook the buckwheat for 12 minutes over medium heat.
- 5
Step 5

Meanwhile, rinse the mushrooms in water and slice them.

Step 6

By this time, the buckwheat will be half-cooked. This is the perfect state for adding the remaining ingredients, as the grain will then absorb the mushroom flavor and aroma.

Place the mushrooms in a saucepan. Rinse and chop the green onions, add to the container. Cover with a lid and simmer for another 5-7 minutes.
- 8
Step 8

Turn off the heat and stir the finished dish.
- 9
Step 9

Place the prepared buckwheat with mushrooms on a plate and serve warm. You can complement the dish with various yogurt-based sauces.
