Healthy pancakes
Description
Those who follow a healthy diet or observe fasting often give up many dishes unnecessarily. You can still make your favorite pancakes fasting-friendly and diet-friendly. Let me tell you how.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Pour about 1.5 cups of cold boiled water into a bowl, add vinegar, sugar, salt, and baking soda. Mix well. To give the future pancakes some color, you can add turmeric.
- 2
Step 2

Add the flour and mix the batter with a whisk until smooth. Then pour in a cup of boiling water and again beat and mix the batter with a whisk.
- 3
Step 3

Add vegetable oil and mix. The dough is ready. You can let it rest for about 15–20 minutes.
- 4
Step 4

Heat a frying pan greased with vegetable oil, and pour the batter in a thin layer. I use a 22 cm pan, and one ladle of batter is enough for one pancake.
- 5
Step 5

Fry the pancakes on both sides. They won't be as golden as pancakes made with milk and eggs.
- 6
Step 6

And here the pancakes are ready. You get 14 thin, delicate pancakes with crispy edges.
