Serviceberry Jam

Description

Serviceberry grows in my grandmother’s garden. The plant is undemanding—the only thing it needs is plenty of sun. As a child, I called serviceberry blueberries. Only now did I learn that, in terms of properties and health benefits, the two berries are similar. Besides jam, serviceberry makes good wine.
