Lenten jelly pie
Description
The pastry is prepared simply and quickly. You can make a vegan jelly pie with any favorite filling; today I have a version with stewed cabbage. If desired, you can add fresh herbs or any seasonal vegetables to the cabbage. The pie is very tasty, tender, and hearty. It is suitable for tea gatherings with close ones or as a snack during the day. Serve it cooled or slightly warm.
