Vegan brownie
Description
Homemade baked goods for tea. This vegan brownie turns out just as delicious without eggs and butter. Cocoa powder perfectly infuses this cake with rich aroma and deep chocolate notes. Adding fruit puree makes this dish even healthier. Serve with tea or coffee.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Sift the flour. Add sugar, salt, vanilla, and baking powder. Add cocoa powder. You can use a dark chocolate bar, previously grated.
- 2
Step 2

Take out apple jam, preserve, or make puree from fresh apples. You can also use fruits from compote. Peaches, apricots, pears, plums, etc. are suitable. If using fresh fruits, heat them with sugar beforehand until they reach a jelly-like consistency.
- 3
Step 3

Mix all the ingredients. Combine the jam or fruit puree with each other. You can grind them in a blender. If you don't have one, use a mixer. The result should be a thick, paste-like mixture.
- 4
Step 4

Place the dough into a pan with high edges. Don't forget to grease the pan beforehand. Put it in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for half an hour.

Step 5

Check the cake while baking to prevent the bottom from burning. If necessary, lower the temperature, which will increase the baking time. Remove the finished cake and cut it into pieces. I decided to sprinkle them with powdered sugar on top—this will enhance both the flavor and appearance. I'll serve them with hot tea.
