Vegan croissants
Description
To make Lenten croissants, I suggest preparing a Lenten yeast dough, as it's perfect for any kind of Lenten baking. I used plum jam, but you can use your favorite filling. Just make sure it's not too runny, otherwise it may leak out during baking, burn, and ruin the taste.
Instructions

Step 1

From all the ingredients except the jam, knead the dough: dissolve the yeast with sugar in warm water for the starter, then gradually add flour, oil, and a little salt. The dough should be soft and not sticky to the hands. Let it rise in a warm place (about 30-40 minutes).

Step 2

Knead the dough and divide it into 3 parts, roll each part into a sheet, then cut each sheet into triangles.

Step 3

Place half a teaspoon of your favorite jam on each triangle.

Step 4

Carefully roll the dough into croissants, making sure the jam doesn't leak out. Place the croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 20–25 minutes.
