
Vegan puffs in the oven
Description
Perfect with tea and coffee. To give the buns different flavors, instead of vanilla sugar you can use citrus zest or spices. You can also replace part of the white wheat flour with rye, corn, or whole grain flour. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

Prepare the listed ingredients, keeping in mind that apple cider vinegar can be replaced with lemon juice or citric acid diluted in water (1/4 tsp).

Pour water into a deep bowl, dissolve sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt in it.

Add vinegar, sunflower oil, and a mixture of flour and baking powder, sifting it in simultaneously, then knead the dough.

It should be soft enough so that the buns turn out fluffy.

Divide the finished dough into 10-12 parts and shape them into small balls.

Place the balls on a baking sheet dusted with flour. Bake the lean buns in an oven preheated to 190 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
