
Bean cutlets (vegan)
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Bean cutlets can be grilled on a barbecue grill, in a grill pan, or in a regular frying pan. The cutlets turn out fluffy and very filling. In this recipe, we replace eggs with starch and water. The finished dish can be served.

1. Rinse the canned beans and lentils and place them in a large bowl. Coarsely chop the onion and bell pepper, and mince the garlic. Sauté the vegetables in oil over medium heat until soft. Let cool.

2. Place the sautéed onion, pepper, and garlic into the blender bowl, add chopped parsley, beans, and lentils. Blend until smooth, but not too finely.

3. Add spices, salt, pepper, starch, and water. Then add breadcrumbs and blend again. Adjust the amount of breadcrumbs by eye until you achieve a not-too-runny consistency. Scoop the mixture with a spoon, coat in flour, and cook on a grill or in hot oil on a grill pan. Sear for about 5-6 minutes on each side.

4. Serve the bean patties as burgers or as regular patties with a fresh salad.
