Vegan cinnamon buns
Description
Homemade treats for tea. Cinnamon buns are the simplest and most popular baked goods. To make them fluffy and soft, I suggest preparing them with yeast dough. For making vegetarian cinnamon buns, we'll also need one cup of sugar and half a cup of cinnamon (for the filling). Serve cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

First, make the starter: dissolve the yeast packet in warm water, add sugar. Mix and let stand for about 20 minutes. Then sift the flour and add it to the risen starter. Also add salt and cinnamon, and knead the dough.
- 2
Step 2

The dough should be soft and non-sticky.
- 3
Step 3

Divide the dough into small balls, then roll out each one, dusting the dough with flour.
- 4
Step 4

Mix 1 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup of cinnamon in a blender, adding a little water. The filling should be thick and creamy. Spread the filling evenly. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
- 5
Step 5

Then carefully roll it up into a roll.
- 6
Step 6

Then we roll the roll up like a snail.
- 7
Step 7

That's how all the buns should be. By the way, it's better to seal them tightly so that the sugar and cinnamon don't leak out during baking.
- 8
Step 8

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the buns on it. Cover them with a towel and let rise for another 30-40 minutes. I recommend brushing the buns with a honey-water solution before baking (for a nice golden color). Bake the buns at 180°C (356°F) for about 20 minutes.
- 9
Step 9

The buns turn out light and very aromatic.
- 10
Step 10

The pastry is ready. Serve with tea.
