
Cocoa Lenten Loaf Cake
Description
Homemade baked goods for tea. To make a lean cocoa gingerbread, you will need honey, vegetable oil, and flour. The amount of sugar depends on the sweetness of the honey and your preference for a sweeter or plainer gingerbread. You can add more spices and seasonings to the dough, as well as nuts or raisins. Just make sure to soak the raisins in warm water beforehand so they become softer.

Prepare the ingredients.

Dissolve sugar in a glass of warm water, add honey and vegetable oil. Mix everything well. In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour, cocoa, baking powder, and vanilla. Add cinnamon, nutmeg, and other spices if desired.

Add the liquid mixture to the dry ingredients and mix well until no lumps remain. The batter should have the consistency of thick sour cream. You can bake the gingerbread in a multicooker or in the oven. Preheat the oven to 180-190 degrees and bake for about 40-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the gingerbread comes out dry.
