Doughnuts with apple filling
Description
The recipe won't take much time. I much prefer filled doughnuts over plain ones. You can put not only apples inside, but also pears, berries, and any other fruits. Additionally, you can use vegetables, meat, and more. I prepare them using yeast dough, so they turn out soft and fluffy. I should warn you—make a large portion right away, as they'll disappear before they even have time to cool. The baked goods are ready. Serve them at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

1. Pour milk and kefir into a bowl, warm them to room temperature, dissolve yeast in the mixture, then add sugar (100 grams) and egg.
- 2
Step 2

2. Thoroughly mix the mixture, pour in 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil.
- 3
Step 3

3. Sift the flour in advance, add it to the bowl with the liquid ingredients in portions, knead the dough, and let it rest for 60 minutes.
- 4
Step 4

4. I wash the apples and remove the skin and seeds, grate them on a coarse grater, and add 50 grams of granulated sugar.
- 5
Step 5

5. Take small pieces from the risen dough, flatten each into a small patty with your hands, place grated apple in the center, and tightly seal the filling inside.
- 6
Step 6

6. I leave the doughnuts for 15 minutes, then place the pan on the stove, pour sunflower oil into it, and put the doughnuts onto the heated surface.
- 7
Step 7

7. I fry them on both sides until a golden crust forms.
- 8
Step 8

8. Place the doughnuts on a plate and serve. It's better to wait for them to cool down, but they get devoured straight from the pan.
