Cherry Doughnuts
Description
Perfect with tea and coffee. I made these doughnuts with added cottage cheese, so they turned out amazingly light and rich in flavor. Cherries make a harmonious filling for this pastry. However, sometimes I use apricots, which also tastes delicious. Serve cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions

Step 1

Heat the milk and mix with one tablespoon of flour and one tablespoon of sugar. Add the yeast, and let the mixture ferment for 15 minutes. In a blender or using a mixer, beat the cottage cheese (passed through a sieve), chicken eggs, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Combine the yeast mixture with the cottage cheese mixture. Knead the dough and let it rest for an hour, covered with a cotton cloth.

Divide the dough into small circles, roll out each one, place the filling inside (half a teaspoon of sugar and some berries). Seal the edges well.

Step 3

Fry our cherry donuts in boiling oil until golden. Then place the baked goods on a clean paper towel to drain excess fat.
