Doughnuts made with sour milk
Description
Doughnuts are certainly not the healthiest food, even for a completely healthy person. Remember: if you decide to enjoy this fluffy treat, do it before three in the afternoon. After that, you should be more careful. Although, if just a little, you can occasionally allow yourself this pleasure.
Instructions

Step 1

Pour sour milk into a bowl. Break in one large egg or two small eggs. Add a pinch of salt, 50 grams of sugar, and 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil. Mix thoroughly. Sift flour together with baking soda. Begin kneading the dough with a spoon, then switch to hands, gradually adding more flour.

Step 2

The dough turned out elastic and non-sticky. Wrap it in a plastic bag or cover with a towel. Let it rest for half an hour. Then sprinkle the table with flour and roll out one or two layers from the dough ball, depending on the size of your table.

Step 3

Roll out the dough to a small thickness; otherwise, the doughnuts may not cook properly. One centimeter in thickness is quite sufficient. Cut out circles from the dough using a glass. Use a shot glass to cut out smaller circles (from the larger circles).

Step 4

Now take a deep frying pan, heat it with a generous amount of vegetable oil. Place the dough circles into the hot oil and fry them on both sides. The doughnuts should float in the fat; that's how they'll turn out just right.

Step 5

We immediately place the finished doughnuts on paper towels or on a material that absorbs fat. This will make them drier. Grind 50 grams of sugar in a mortar. Sprinkle the hot doughnuts with powdered sugar so they absorb it well. You can eat them with tea, milk, or coffee, but it's better not to have them at night!
