Step 1

1. I've always loved classic donuts made with this recipe. So, let's prepare the ingredients and get started.
- 2
Step 2

2. Warm the milk (reserve 70 ml for the glaze). Separately, beat the egg yolks with sugar and butter until pale. Dissolve the yeast in the warm milk, and mix the flour with salt. Then combine all the ingredients and knead the dough.
- 3
Step 3

3. Knead it until elastic, but do not overwork with flour (it should remain soft). Then leave it in a warm place to rise. This takes about 1 hour.
- 4
Step 4

4. When the dough has risen, place it on the table and divide it into portions. Then roll out each portion and cut out circles. Cut a hole in the center of each circle (I used a pastry piping tip for this).
- 5
Step 5

5. Place our prepared dough pieces onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let them rise for another 20 minutes. Then bake the doughnuts in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for 25 minutes.

Step 6

6. While the doughnuts are baking, prepare the glaze: heat the milk and add sugar and cocoa. Bring to a boil and turn off the heat. Since this glaze hardens quickly, it can be reheated periodically.
- 7
Step 7

7. Dip the cooled doughnuts into the glaze and then into the nuts.

Step 8

8. They turn out to be fluffy and beautiful, and their taste will delight even the most picky sweet lovers.
