Description
Grate the processed cheese on a medium grater. Add egg and a quarter cup of sugar to the bowl with the grated cheese. Mix everything well. In a separate container, add a little baking soda and neutralize it with vinegar. Then mix it with the cheese mixture. Sift flour through a sieve and add it to the dough. Divide the resulting mixture into small portions. Roll them into sausages and join the ends together to form a ring. Fry the doughnuts in hot oil. You can also shape them into traditional round doughnuts. Serve warm or cooled. Perfect with tea.

Step 1

Grate the processed cheese on a medium grater. To make it easier to grate, place the cheese in the freezer for about 10 minutes so it hardens slightly. Then grate the cheese. Add one egg and approximately a quarter cup of sugar to the bowl with the grated processed cheese.

Step 2

Mix all this well with a fork. In a separate container, add a little baking soda and neutralize it with lemon juice. Then mix it with the cheese mixture. Next, sift the flour through a sieve and gradually add it to our dough.

Step 3

Please note that the dough will not turn out firm; on the contrary, it should be very tender.

Step 4

Cut our soft dough into small pieces. Roll them into thin sausages, then join the ends together to form bagel-like rings. I recommend making the sausages thin so they cook thoroughly and aren't raw inside. The doughnuts are now ready for frying.

Step 5

In a preheated skillet with vegetable oil, begin frying the cheese doughnuts. It's better to use a deeper skillet for this process. Do not try to fry all the doughnuts at once; cook them in small batches. Fry until a golden-brown crust forms on both sides. After frying, place the doughnuts on a plate and let them cool. Sprinkle with powdered sugar on top if desired.
