Tomatoes with cheese in the oven
Description
Cut the tomatoes in half and remove the pulp. Prepare the filling and stuff the tomato halves. Then sprinkle with cheese and bake in the oven for about 10 minutes.
Instructions

Step 1

To prepare the dish, it's better to use meaty "plum" tomatoes, but I didn't have any. I took large, well-shaped tomatoes. Wash them.
- 2
Step 2

Cut each tomato in half. Carefully remove the green stem. Remove the seeds from each tomato half.
- 3
Step 3

I had smoked pork neck. You can use any ready-made meat (even just boiled meat). Chop it finely.
- 4
Step 4

Add chopped dill and grated garlic to the meat.
- 5
Step 5

Dress everything with sour cream and mix. I didn't add salt—the meat and cheese already contain enough.
- 6
Step 6

Fill each tomato half with the prepared mixture. Place the tomatoes in a baking dish or simply on a baking sheet. I lined mine with foil.
- 7
Step 7

Grate the hard cheese on a grater. Sprinkle each tomato with it on top.
- 8
Step 8

Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes. Serve immediately. When removing the tomatoes from the baking sheet, handle carefully. Hot tomatoes are very delicate. I used two tablespoons. If you just use a fork, the hot tomatoes flip over and the filling falls out. Use the spoons like tongs.
