Tomatoes with Cheese and Garlic
Description
A tasty appetizer for any gathering. The proportions are approximate — everything depends on the size of the tomatoes, how rich the cheese is, and so on. So adjust as you go; I don’t think anyone will have trouble making such a simple snack :) Even my 11-year-old son makes it on his own — he loves it so much that he goes to the store for cheese himself, comes home, cooks it, and devours it with huge pleasure. We love it too, in general. We recommend you make it — a snack like this is sure to please! The tomato, cheese, and garlic recipe is absurdly simple: 1. Wash the tomatoes and slice them into round pieces. Try to cut the tomatoes carefully, without pressing too hard, or all the juice will run out. 2. Grate the cheese on a medium grater, add pressed garlic to the same bowl. Season this mixture with mayonnaise; if needed, salt and pepper to taste. 3. Arrange the tomato slices on a plate and spread the cheese-garlic mixture on top. That’s it! You can serve it right away. Tomatoes with cheese and garlic are quick to make, but they’re usually eaten even faster :) You can serve them warm or chilled.
