Italian-Style Tomatoes

Description
The recipe won't take much time. Italian-style tomatoes are a very popular appetizer (and not only in Italy). The combination of quick preparation and flavor quality gives this appetizer an advantage over other appetizers. It can be served warm or chilled.

Step 1
Place the lettuce leaves on a serving plate. Top with tomatoes sliced into slices (~0.5 cm).

Spread each tomato with tasty mayonnaise mixed with garlic passed through a garlic press. The amount of garlic is up to your taste.

Grate the hard cheese on a fine grater.

Sprinkle the tomatoes with cheese. You can add a little chopped herbs if you like, but that's optional. The appetizer is ready!
