
Greek-Style Tomatoes
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Fresh basil fits in perfectly with the herbs here, and you can add a sprig of fresh rosemary to the butter for aroma. You can try the appetizer warm as well, but it's still considered a cold dish! I'll explain in detail,

Prepare all necessary ingredients.

Remove the stem from each tomato, cut each tomato in half, and place them in a skillet or a deep-sided sauté pan. Add a little oil to the bottom of the pan.

Sprinkle the tomatoes with sugar and salt to taste. Then add chopped herbs and finely chopped garlic.

Sprinkle each half with olive oil and place over heat. When the oil on the bottom is hot, cover with a lid and reduce to medium heat.

Cook the tomatoes covered for 6–7 minutes. Then let them cool and serve!
