Marinated Tomatoes with Onion

Description

Homemade preserves keep for a long time. Pickled tomatoes with onion are one of my favorite preserves. The onion adds a very interesting flavor to the tomatoes, makes them more piquant, and gives a slight kick. In winter, sometimes you don’t need anything else for lunch—boil some potatoes, open a jar of pickled tomatoes with onion, and you’ve got a tasty meal.
