
Fondant made from powdered sugar
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Don't know what to decorate cupcakes or other baked goods with? Then make a sugar icing using powdered sugar and white chocolate. This icing is prepared in minutes, sets quickly, and has a pronounced white chocolate flavor. Serve chilled.

To prepare the icing, have ready cupcakes cooled to room temperature, white chocolate, powdered sugar, and milk.

Place the white chocolate in a saucepan and melt it over a "water bath." Make sure the bottom of the saucepan does not touch the boiling water. Add powdered sugar to the melted chocolate.

Pour 2 tablespoons of milk into a saucepan.

Stir the mixture well directly over a "water bath."

Using a pastry brush, spread the glaze over the cupcakes while the glaze is still wet. You can then add various sprinkles—freeze-dried strawberries or raspberries go particularly well with this glaze.
