Glaze for cupcakes
Description
The recipe won’t take long. A chocolate frosting will give your baked goods an appetizing look, and you can make it in literally 5–10 minutes. The important part is to chill the cupcakes in the refrigerator so the frosting sets on them right away. White chocolate frosting is especially popular—all the children ask for seconds of these cupcakes. Serve cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients listed. Place the cupcakes in the refrigerator or freezer so they are cold—the prepared glaze will set on them right away.
- 2
Step 2

Put the butter in a saucepan or a pot with a non-stick bottom and place it on the stove over moderate heat. Melt the butter for about 2–3 minutes, without bringing it to a boil. Do not replace it with margarine or spread.
- 3
Step 3

Put the cocoa powder into a bowl and add chocolate of whichever kind you chose. Only add the cocoa to hot butter (or oil) — it dissolves faster in a hot liquid.
- 4
Step 4

Stir, heat gently until the chocolate has melted completely and turn off the heat right away so the chocolate does not overheat. Blend the fudge thoroughly.
- 5
Step 5

Pour the mixture into a shallow bowl or dessert cup, take out the cupcakes, and dip each one by the top into the frosting.
- 6
Step 6

Place the cupcakes on a plate and refrigerate for 5–10 minutes. The glaze will set and the cupcakes will be ready to serve.
- 7
Step 7

Brew fragrant tea and invite your family to afternoon tea with cupcakes.
