1. Bring the water to a boil and add salt. Cut the tomatoes into small pieces.

2. Pour the grain into boiling water and cook over slightly lower than medium heat, stirring constantly. Cooking time is indicated on the package. My grain takes 20 minutes to cook.

3. The porridge has thickened and starts "spitting" after about 15 minutes. Add the butter and stir.

4. Add the sun-dried tomatoes. I use my own tomatoes, dried with Provence herbs, so I don't add anything else to the polenta. But you can add a pinch of dried basil, Provence or Italian herbs.

5. Well, the polenta is ready.

6. Transfer to a rectangular pan lined with parchment paper, smooth out and let cool.

7. The polenta has cooled, cut it into strips.

8. Wrap each polenta slice with bacon.

9. Fry the bacon in a skillet with a small amount of vegetable oil until it turns a nice golden brown color.
