cutlets (the right and delicious recipe)
Description
These patties are delicious on their own with various sauces, as well as served with any side dish. Instead of regular breadcrumbs typically used for frying patties, this recipe calls for large crunchy crackers. They are what give the dish its special touch and unique original flavor. Tender patties with an appetizing crispy crust will delight both children and adults. The result is incredibly delicious, and the aroma filling the kitchen is simply irresistible! These can be served not only for lunch or dinner but also at any festive table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients. Place the butter in the freezer in advance. If your chicken breast is frozen, thaw it at room temperature beforehand.
- 2
Step 2

Cut the baguette slices into small cubes and, laying them in a single layer, lightly dry them in a pan or oven.
- 3
Step 3

Pour the cream into a deep plate and soak 4-5 slices of the remaining bread in it, using only the soft part (crumb), while the leftover crusts should also be chopped and used for breading.
- 4
Step 4

Chop the onion in a blender until it becomes a puree, or you can use a meat grinder.
- 5
Step 5

Grind the chicken fillet as well using a meat grinder or blender.
- 6
Step 6

Combine the minced chicken breast, onion, and bread crumbs squeezed free of cream. Take the butter out of the freezer and grate coarsely. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- 7
Step 7

Mix thoroughly, cover the bowl with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 1 hour. The meat mixture will marinate and become firmer.
- 8
Step 8

Wet your hands with cold water and shape the patties. Roll each patty in breadcrumbs, gently pressing the bread pieces into the meat.
- 9
Step 9

Let the patties rest on the table for 5-10 minutes.
- 10
Step 10

Then fry in a well-heated skillet with vegetable oil. Cook on both sides until a golden crust forms. If desired, you can also sear the edges.
- 11
Step 11

Place the fried patties in a heatproof dish and put them in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
- 12
Step 12

The Pozharsky cutlets are ready. Serve them hot, while they're still warm—it's delicious.
