Beef Gravy
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. This is a simple beef gravy recipe, but the taste will be rich and spicy. The main ingredients can be adjusted to your taste, allowing you to prepare this dish in a new way each time. 1. Wash the beef, dry it, and cut into portion-sized pieces. 2. To prepare the marinade, mix Worcestershire sauce and Tabasco sauce, along with a little olive oil (although the oil can be omitted). 3. Pour the prepared marinade over the meat, then season with salt and pepper to taste. The longer the beef marinates, the richer its flavor will become. Ideally, leave the meat overnight. If that's not possible, let it sit in the marinade for at least 1 hour. 4. Pour olive oil into a frying pan and heat it well. 5. Add the meat and sear over high heat for the first 3–5 minutes. Then reduce the heat and cook the beef until done. 6. Sprinkle flour into the pan with the meat and stir well to prevent lumps. If there is not enough liquid, add a little hot water. Optionally, season the sauce with tomato paste or peeled fresh tomatoes. 7. Simmer for several more minutes until the gravy becomes smooth and uniform. Homemade beef gravy can be served with pasta, mashed potatoes, or a side of stewed or fresh vegetables. The dish is now ready to be served.
