Classic sauce
Description
There's nothing complicated about this recipe, and all the ingredients are readily available and likely already in any kitchen. This sauce should be served exclusively hot, so if you prepare it well in advance of serving with the main dishes, be sure to reheat it before using. For a richer flavor, you can replace the vegetable oil with butter and use meat broth instead of water. You can also add any spices to taste: cloves, paprika, chili pepper, etc.
