
Pilaf in a pressure multicooker
Description

To make the process even faster, I cook pilaf in a pressure multicooker at home. This is the most convenient option for me, as the appliance does almost all the work, allowing me to relax or attend to other tasks meanwhile. So with this easy pilaf recipe in a pressure multicooker, dinner practically prepares itself, requiring minimal effort from you. The finished dish can be served right away.

First, we rinse the pork and cut it into small pieces, peel the vegetables, and also thoroughly rinse the rice under running water.

Next, pour vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl and select the "Frying" mode. Add the pork to the heated oil and fry, stirring, for 5-7 minutes. Then add the chopped onion and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Add the carrot cut into strips and continue frying the vegetables with the meat for 3-4 minutes. After that, sprinkle everything with spices, add salt to taste, and mix well.

Now add the washed rice to the bowl, spread it evenly, and place a whole head of garlic in the center of the rice. Pour in water until it just barely covers the rice, close the multicooker lid, and set it to the "Meat" mode for 30 minutes. After the sound signal indicating completion, keep the lid closed for another 5 minutes, then open it and stir the contents of the bowl.
