
Pilaf with mushrooms
Description
There are countless different recipes for pilaf. But that's okay! :) I'm still going to share with you one more recipe—my favorite—pilaf with mushrooms. The special feature of this recipe is the addition of raisins, which give the rice an interesting, oriental flavor. This pilaf is definitely worth trying! Read the mushroom pilaf recipe with photos

Heat sunflower oil in a kazan, then add finely chopped onion and sliced mushrooms (slice the mushrooms as you prefer).

When the mushrooms and onions have slightly fried, add to the pot the carrots grated on a coarse grater and the washed raisins previously soaked in hot water.

When the carrots are ready, add tomato paste to the cauldron and mix everything well.

Pour salted water over the ingredients. The water should cover the pilaf by about 3 centimeters. Do not stir the ingredients anymore.

Bring the pilaf to a boil and transfer it to a preheated oven at 180 degrees. Simmer for 40 minutes.

Remove the ready pilaf from the oven and mix. Serve with fresh vegetables.
