
Pilaf with celery
Description
The recipe won't take much time. You can prepare pilaf with celery for both a family dinner and any festive table. The dish is hearty, aromatic, and very delicious! Prepare all the ingredients.

Rinse the meat, pat dry, and cut into pieces.

Pour oil into a cauldron or any thick-bottomed pot, heat it, add the sliced meat, and sear over high heat until a golden crust forms, adding salt.

Add the onion cut into thin strips and the carrot cut into small matchstick-sized pieces. Fry, stirring, for about 10 minutes.

Wash the celery and slice it no thicker than 5 mm, then add it to the meat with the vegetables.

Continue cooking for about 2 more minutes.

Pour in boiling water so that it covers the meat and vegetables, add spices and salt to taste, bring to a boil, then simmer over low heat, covered, for 15–30 minutes.

Then add the washed rice, level it out, and place a garlic head, cleaned of its outer husk, in the center, pressing it into the rice as shown in the photo.

Pour in boiling water so that it covers the rice by 1 cm, add salt if necessary, and cover the pot with a lid. Cook over high heat until the rice is half-cooked—the water should be almost completely absorbed. Then gather the rice into a mound in the center, cover it with a plate, place the lid back on the pot, and cook over low heat for another 10 minutes.

Let the prepared pilaf rest for 20-30 minutes, then stir and serve.
