Fish pilaf in a multicooker
Description
Preparing fish pilaf in a multicooker is very easy. First, with the lid open, sauté the onion, then add the trout. Sear briefly, stirring occasionally. Next, add the rice, spices, pour in water, close the multicooker lid, and select the correct cooking mode! Herein possibly lies the main difficulty of this recipe. You need to choose the right mode, as all multicookers differ and operate differently. I suggest selecting the "Pilaf" setting, but you might need to turn it off slightly earlier, since the program is designed for cooking meat, not fish. Monitor and control the process carefully. Good luck and enjoy!
Instructions

Step 1

Finely dice the onion (the onion should be large), rinse the trout, remove the skin, and cut into fairly large pieces.
- 2
Step 2

In "frying" mode with the lid open, fry until translucent. Then add the trout.

Step 3

After lightly sautéing the trout and thoroughly mixing everything, add the rice, pour in water, and add seasonings (no need to stir anymore!). Close the lid and set the "Pilaf" mode. Cook until the program ends, but since fish cooks faster than meat, open occasionally to check doneness—without stirring!
