
Pilaf with sausage
Description
This is an amazingly simple pilaf recipe with sausage that you can prepare for lunch or dinner for the whole family. Instead of chicken, you can also use beef or pork, and additionally enrich the dish with vegetables to your taste.

1. Peel the onion and pepper and cut into cubes. You can use any sausage you like, but it's better to choose one that's not too dry. Cut the bacon into pieces and mince the garlic. The sausage pilaf recipe can also be supplemented with other meat delicacies.

2. The rice also needs to be thoroughly rinsed and left in water for 3-5 minutes. Meanwhile, wash and dry the chicken pieces, season with salt and pepper to taste. Add chicken spices if desired.

3. Pour vegetable oil into a cauldron or a heavy-bottomed skillet and heat thoroughly. Add the pork belly and fry for a short while.

4. Next, add the onion and garlic, constantly stirring, and sauté until golden brown.

5. Add pepper and, if desired, other vegetables to taste.

6. When the vegetables are slightly fried, add the sausage and cook for about 3-4 minutes.

7. Carefully remove the vegetables and sausage from the cauldron and place the chicken there. Put the rice to cook until half-done.

8. When the chicken is well fried, return the vegetables to the cauldron and add the rice. Pour in the wine and add spices to taste.

9. Cover with a lid and simmer for another 5-7 minutes until fully cooked, then remove from heat and let it steep for 30-35 minutes. Serve homemade sausage pilaf with fresh herbs.
