Beef and smoked meat pilaf
Description
This recipe won't take much time. Although various smoked meats aren't considered the healthiest foods, dishes made with them turn out incredibly delicious, so it's perfectly fine to treat yourself occasionally. To start, I suggest trying this recipe for pilaf with beef and smoked meats. Besides beef, we'll add pork belly, smoked sausage, and sausages to the dish, making our pilaf absolutely amazing and very filling. Here's a great idea to surprise your family—prepare homemade pilaf with beef and smoked meats. I'm sure your loved ones will be delighted, especially the men in your household. 1) Start by preparing all the necessary ingredients. Rinse the beef and cut it into small pieces. Finely chop the smoked meats. Peel and prepare the vegetables: finely chop the onion, grate the carrot on a coarse grater or cut into strips, cut the celery and bell pepper into small pieces, and thoroughly rinse the rice. 2) Pour vegetable oil into a heavy-bottomed pot and heat it. Add the beef and sear for 7–8 minutes. Then add the smoked meats and continue frying for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. 3) Add the onion, carrot, bell pepper, celery, and minced garlic to the meat. Mix everything well, season with salt and pepper to taste, and cook over medium heat for another 5 minutes. At the end, add tomato sauce. 4) Add the rinsed rice to the meat and vegetables, mix well, and fry for 2 minutes. Then pour in broth, bring to a boil, add bay leaf, and cook the pilaf over low heat, covered, for 20 minutes. Once the rice is tender, turn off the heat, portion the pilaf onto plates, sprinkle with fresh herbs, and serve. Enjoy your meal! Serve hot.
