
Pilaf with Vermicelli
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Some might say it's easier to cook stewed pork, boil noodles, and combine the two in one pot. I won't argue—this is tasty too. But the secret of this pilaf is that the noodles are boiled not in water, but in meat sauce. This dramatically changes the dish's flavor. Give it a try—you won't regret it. Serve hot.

Take the ingredients for preparing pilaf with noodles.

Wash the pork and cut it into small pieces. Place it in a heavy-bottomed pot.

Pour in the sunflower oil and fry the meat until a golden crust forms.

Peel and wash the carrots and onion. Cut the carrots into thin strips and the onion into half-rings. Add to the pot with the meat.

Cover the pot with a lid and simmer the pork with vegetables in oil for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then add 300-350 ml of water, stir in ground turmeric, add salt to taste, and continue simmering the meat until cooked through.

Pour another 200 ml of water, bring to a boil, and add thin vermicelli. Mix the vermicelli with the meat and vegetables.
