Wash the duck, cut it into pieces, and fry in vegetable oil until golden brown.

Pour water over the fried duck pieces, add a teaspoon of salt and spices, and simmer for about 1.5 hours.

While the duck is simmering, let's prepare the vegetables. Peel the onion and carrot. Grate the carrot on a grater, slice the onion into half-rings, and fry them together in vegetable oil until cooked.
