Pork pilaf in a pan
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Pork pilaf cooked in a skillet is quite simple and requires less time and effort compared to the traditional method of making pilaf. For this recipe, you'll need a deep frying pan, a good piece of pork, one cup of parboiled rice (which sticks together less), carrots, onion, and a set of spices typically used for pilaf (you can use a classic spice mix, such as barberry, cumin, and so on). Try preparing it according to my recipe—I think you'll be satisfied and well-fed. Good luck! The dish is now ready to be served.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Rinse the rice thoroughly in cold, salted water. Peel the carrots and onion.
- 2
Step 2

We thoroughly wash the meat under running water and dry it with a paper towel.
- 3
Step 3

Cut into small cubes.
- 4
Step 4

Place the pan over high heat, heat it up, add and heat the oil, then add the meat to brown.
- 5
Step 5

Sear the meat for about 5-7 minutes over high heat, stirring constantly.
- 6
Step 6

Grate the carrot on a grater, chop the onion into cubes, and add both to the meat in the frying pan.
- 7
Step 7

Add salt, pepper, spices, and mix everything well.
- 8
Step 8

Then we reduce the heat slightly and fry for 10 minutes, stirring constantly. This way we prepare the so-called ZIRVAK.
- 9
Step 9

Add rice.
- 10
Step 10

We distribute it evenly.
- 11
Step 11

Then, carefully pour water in a thin stream over the top. The water should cover the rice by 1.5 cm. You can add a little more salt to the rice if needed.
- 12
Step 12

Then cover the pan with a lid and simmer the pilaf over low heat for 40 minutes. Do not open the lid! After 40 minutes, turn off the heat and let the pilaf stand for another 10 minutes. It's ready!

Step 13

Done.
