1. Peel and slice the onion into thin half-rings. Wash, peel, and grate the carrot. Wash the bell pepper, remove the seeds, and slice thinly. Peel the garlic.

2. Place the seafood cocktail into boiling salted water for 3-4 minutes, then drain in a colander.
