The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. In my opinion, bulgur makes a really excellent pilaf! If you haven't tried this kind of pilaf yet, I highly recommend you do. Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

For cooking, you can use either bone-in meat or boneless meat. I prefer the latter. Cut the meat into pieces that are not too large but not too small either, as it will shrink during cooking.

Step 3

Pour oil into a cauldron, heat it up, and add the sliced meat. Sear over high heat until a golden-brown crust forms, then reduce the heat, cover with a lid, and cook until the meat is fully done. Periodically add a small amount of water during cooking to prevent frying and allow the meat to braise in its own juices. Add salt to taste.

Step 4

When the meat is ready, add the carrots cut into strips and the scallions cut into feathers.
- 5
Step 5

Sauté everything together until the vegetables are tender.
- 6
Step 6

Add the washed bulgur, peeled garlic cloves, salt, and spices to taste.
- 7
Step 7

Pour boiling water, mix and cook over medium heat until the dish is fully ready. Base readiness on the grain being cooked.
- 8
Step 8

The bulgur pilaf with lamb is ready.

Step 9

Serve at the table.
