Cinnamon Rolls
Description
Nothing is more delightful than the spicy scent of cinnamon spreading through the house on a Sunday morning. With a good cup of coffee, there's no better weekend breakfast than cinnamon rolls. Luckily, they are quite simple to make—my cinnamon roll recipe will leave no doubt about that. Good luck with your cooking! Serve with tea or coffee.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Today I'll share with you a simple recipe for delicious cinnamon buns! First, dissolve the yeast and butter in warm milk.
- 2
Step 2

Then add the eggs to the resulting mixture. Gently, slightly beating, mix using a whisk.
- 3
Step 3

Mix half of the flour with the salt and add to the mixture.
- 4
Step 4

Gradually adding the remaining flour, knead the dough.
- 5
Step 5

Roll out the resulting dough to a thickness of approximately 0.5 cm.
- 6
Step 6

A little secret — the rolled dough should be brushed with milk; this makes it more moist and fluffy.
- 7
Step 7

Mix the cinnamon with sugar. Sprinkle the dough with the resulting mixture.
- 8
Step 8

Roll the dough into a log so that the filling is inside. I roll it tightly, as it's easier to slice that way.
- 9
Step 9

Cut the roll into slices about 2-3 cm wide; you should get 12 to 15 pieces. To prevent the dough from sticking to the knife, moisten the knife with cold water after each cut.
- 10
Step 10

Place the buns in a heatproof dish or a deep baking tray.
- 11
Step 11

Cover the pan with plastic wrap and let it sit for about an hour, until the dough rises.
- 12
Step 12

As can be seen in the photo, the buns have noticeably increased in size.
- 13
Step 13

Place the pan with the buns in a preheated oven at 170-180 degrees and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- 14
Step 14

While the buns are baking, we mix the butter with powdered sugar and cream cheese.
- 15
Step 15

Take the buns out of the oven and brush the hot buns with cream! Sunday breakfast is ready, serve it at the table! This is a classic recipe for delicious cinnamon buns; you can always vary it by adding raisins and nuts to taste.
